Bishop Rosado

Rosado, Bishop Jose, Sr. of Merkel TX, formerly of Plattekill, NY, entered into rest Sunday, March 12, 2017, at Hendricks Hospice, Abilene, TX. He was 88. Born July 20, 1928, in Guaynabo, PR, he was the son of the late Bernabe and Carmen Laureano Rosado. He was a retired Bishop of Church of God, Glenham and a former Pastor for over 23 years, he has done Mission’s in Honduras for many years. Survivors include: his wife Frances Malave Rosado, two sons, Jose Rosado Jr., (Joann) of Merkel, TX, and David Rosado (Helen) of Hopkinsville, KY, three sisters, Elizabeth, Jenny and Victoria Rosado, seven grandchildren, Christin, Jillian, Dana, Rachel, Stephanie, Erica and Valerie, eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held, Friday, March 17, 2017 from 6:00 to 7:00 PM where at 7:00 PM services will be held, at Church Of God 74 Old Glenham Rd. Glenham. Funeral Services will take place Saturday, March 18, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Church Of God. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery, RTE 9W Newburgh, NY.
