Jacquelyn (Jones) Broughton

Jacquelyn Jones Broughton, 54, passed away on January 19, 2019. She was a beloved daughter of Sylvia L. Jones; Sister of Julia and Alesha Jones; Mother of the late Lil Shamel and Dominque Jones-Free; Grandmother of Prince Langford Jones. She was born at Highland Hospital in Beacon, NY on November 24, 1964. Lived all of her life in Beacon, attended Beacon City Schools. She worked at the Gap, IBM, and a couple of nursing homes as a certified nurse assistant. During 1999, she met her future husband in Beacon, Tony Broughton, and married in April 2014, he survives her along with step-children: Nyeisha, Melissa, Anthony and Jonathan Broughton. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 26th from 2-4pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a Home-Going Service will be offered at 4:00pm.
