Justin 'Tza' James Tomlins

Justin James ‘Tza’ Tomlins, 41, a lifelong Beacon resident, passed peacefully at home on October 3, 2021. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on February 25, 1980, the son of James ‘Jimmy’ Tomlins and late Gina (Tasetano) Bopp.

He grew up playing soccer in his early-childhood; he graduate from Beacon High School Class of 1998. Justin was employed by EarthCare Environmental Co; he was also a licensed HV/AC technician graduating from Ridley-Lowell Business & Technical Institute.

Justin enjoyed spending time with family and friends over a beer or a game of football, lighting up any room with his bright smile and infectious laugh. He will be sorely missed.

Justin is survived by his daughter, Chloe Tomlins; former spouse, Heather Weldon; stepfather, Wayne Bopp; uncle, Jeff Tomlins; nephew Ryan Tomlins; Aunt and Uncle Janet and Paul Tasetano and their sons, Seth and Jared; cousins Heather, Dawn, and Troy Light; and many loving friends. Along with his mother Gina Bopp, he was predeceased by his grandmothers, June Henry & Barbara Hopper.

His Family & Friends will gather on Thursday, October 7th from 3-7pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a Funeral Service will be held 11am, Friday, October 8th followed by interment to St. Joachim Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon.
