Leahann Merante

Leahann Maloney Merante, 61 years old, a resident of Poughquag, NY in recent years, passed away at her home on May 4, 2021. She was born in Yonkers, NY on April 24, 1960, daughter of the late Michael Francis Maloney and Marianne (Buchanan) Battaglia. Formerly of Beacon, and prior she lived in Cold Spring, NY most of her life. Leahann is survived by loving husband and best friend Ryo Merante; her daughters: Margurite (Meg) Rodriguez of Beacon, Sarah McDonald; her brothers Terry and Jay Maloney; her sister Kim Powlis, all of Beacon. Her Grandchildren Alissa and Domenic Lenonetti, and an abundance of cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces & great-nephews. Along with her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Danny Maloney, and her best friends Marie & Debbie. Services of Remembrance will be held privately by family.
