Rebecca Pendleton Deneu, 55, a life-long Beacon resident, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at the Kaplan Hospice Home in Newburgh. She was born on June 6, 1963 in Beacon, daughter of the late William and Gladys Miriam (Montroy) Pendleton. Rebecca worked as a retail clerk, and for over 20-yrs., she worked at Chico's in Fishkill, where she was assistant store manager until retiring. She enjoyed the outdoors by hiking, and her crafts by crocheting. She loved her cats, and her nephews most especially very dearly. Rebecca is survived by her sister Rose Ann Quirk and her husband Dennis of Beacon; and her brother William Pendleton of Fort Plains, NY. Her nephews: Dennis Quirk Jr. and his wife Shay; and James E. Quirk; and her 2 great-nephews Ronan & Killian Quirk. She is also survived by many friends & former customers. Family & friends will gather on Wednesday, December 19th from 4-8pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon. A Celebration of her Life will be held at 11am, Thursday, December 20th at the First Presbyterian Church, 50 Liberty St., Beacon. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
