Rudolph Mendoza

Mendoza, Rudolph of Beacon, entered into rest Saturday, May 27, 2017 at Elant of Fishkill, Fishkill, NY. He was 88. Born October 7, 1928 in Los Angeles, CA., he was the son of the late Aurielo and Soledad Mendoza. Rudolph was a retired Public Worker with the City of Beacon and M&M Photo of Newburgh, a Wedding photographer and a avid Photographer, he enjoyed painting and was well known for his art work around the Beacon area, he was a member of Lewis Tompkins Hose, Beacon, The Third Order of St. Francis, St. Lawrence of Beacon, a member of St. John’s Church, Beacon and a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1954-1956. Along with his wife Pauline who survives him at home, survivors include, four children, Paulette Case of Beacon, Patricia (Richard) Buchalski of Palm Bay, Fl. Ed Mendoza of Beacon, Arthur (Janelle) Mendoza of E. Fishkill, 10 grandchildren, Devon, Jenn, Niki, Patricia, Alisha, Amanda, Alyssa, Sienna, Leyna and Dawson, five great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Abbygail, Vanessa, Corbin and Bronson. He was predeceased by his brother Edmond Mendoza and his wife Rita. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 from 9:00 to 10:45 AM at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 11:00 AM at St. John’s The Evangelist Catholic Church 31 Willow St. Beacon, NY. Interment will follow with Military Honors at St. Joachim’s Cemetery Washington Ave. Beacon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to ARF 54 Simmons Ln.
