Alan Shafer

Shafer, Alan R. of Rhinebeck, entered into rest on December 21, 2012 at his home. He was 67. Born Setember 17, 1945, in Poughkeepsie, NY. He was married to the late Barbara Jean Tomlins Shafer who predeceased him on September 29, 2011. Mr. Shafer was a former employee of Walmart, and Hoe Bowl in Kingston, NY. He is survived by his daughter, Janice L. Shafer of Rhinebeck. Two brothers, John D. Shafer of Clinton Corners, and Dennis Shafer of Poughkeepsie, and one sister, Sarah Kilmer of Elizaville, NY.
