Albert E. Green

Albert E. Green, a 58-year resident of Fishkill, died at his home on March 7, 2024; at the age of 83. He was born in Beacon, NY on February 17, 1941, son of the late Ralph & Ethel (Lewis) Green. Albert attended Beacon City Schools and graduated from Beacon High School class of 1958. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from the Albany College of Pharmacy.

On March 22, 1964, he married Jane Solotar of Fishkill, who survives him at home.

Al loved fishing, traveling, and spending time with his family.  Al was there for others, and he provided for and loved his family dearly.   There wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for Jane and his sons and grandsons.

Albert worked as a pharmacist in hospitals and in his own drug store.  Later he and his wife Jane, to keep busy, worked for American Greeting.

Along with his wife, Albert is survived by his two sons: Ian Green and Jason Green. He is also survived by his two grandchildren, Eli and Nolan Green.

His Family will gather privately for a service at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, New York. Interment will be private at his family’s discretion.
