Angel 'Tito' M. Velazquez, Jr.

Angel ‘Tito’ M. Velazquez Jr., 36, a resident of Walden and formerly of Beacon, passed away suddenly on October 7, 2021. He was born in Poughkeepsie, NY on August 27, 1985 son of Angel M. Velazquez and Denise (Johnson) Velazquez. He was a graduate of Wallkill High School, class of 2004.

Angel, or Tito as he was affectionately known to many; he worked for several years as a Power Control Operator at Roseton Generating LLC in Newburgh, NY. Tito was an avid NY Mets and Miami Dolphins fan. He also enjoyed weight-lifting, and was a avid professional wrestling fan.

On May 5, 2012, he married the love of his life, Liliam Gonzalez; who survives him at home with their 3 children, his two sons Samson A. & Joshua M. Velazquez; and his beautiful daughter Olivia D. Velazquez.

Along with his wife of 9-years and adored children, Angel is survived by his mother Denise Velazquez; his father Angel M. (Elizabeth) Velazquez Sr; his mother-in-law Evangelina Elvir; his brother Aaron M. Velazquez (Darrene Zanolini); his sister Sienna J. (Adilur) Rahman; his niece Eliana Velazquez; his maternal grandparents Harold & Elodie Johnson; and he is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins & friends.

Angel was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Julio & Dionisia Velazquez, and his father-in-law, Juan Francisco Gonzalez.

His Family & Friends will gather on Wednesday, October 13th from 4 to 8 pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a service will be offered throughout.
