Anna ODell

O’Dell, Anna of Beacon entered into rest Wednesday, December 9, 2015 at her home. She was 77. Born October 14, 1938 in Peekskill, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Anna Gilleo Heady. Anna was a retired Nurse’s Aid for Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, she was also a member of St. Joachim’s Church, Beacon. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Richard J. & Lynn M. O’Dell, and step-grandson Steven R. Herriman of Wappingers Falls, as well as her grandson, Michael R. O’Dell of Beacon, additionally she is survived by brothers and sisters, Irene Mintz of Walden, Dolores Heady of Beacon, Charles ‘Butch’ Heady of Beacon and John Heady Sr. of Beacon, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her four brothers and two sisters, Joseph C. Heady, Albert Heady, Kenneth Heady, Richard W. Heady Sr., Rosemary Heady and Roberta Heady. Visitation will be held Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 14, 2015 at 11:00 AM at St. Joachim’s Church 51 Leonard St. Beacon, NY. Interment will follow in St. Joachim’s Cemetery, Beacon.
