Barbara Shafer

Shafer, Barbara Jean of Rhinebeck, entered into rest Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Northern Dutchess Hospital, Rhinebeck, she was 61. Born June 30, 1950 in Beacon, she was the daughter of the late Robert Tomlins and Winona O’Dell Tomlins Bailey. She was employed as a bus driver for Rhinebeck Schools System. Survivors include her her husband Alan R. Shafer at home, he is employed at Walmart, in Kingston, a daughter; Janice Lee Shafer of Rhinebeck, and several nieces and nephews. Services and interment is private and at the convenience of the family.
