Betty (Hester) Harkins

With sadness I report the passing of my mother, Betty Harkins, on Tuesday May 10th, 2022.

She lead a rich, full life, with many friends, and a vast loving extended family.

She leaves behind myself Lance, my two brothers, Sean and Daniel, and her grandson Jacob.

She also leaves behind the legacy of a more environmentally educated people. She dedicated many years of her life to this cause. For her and her many friends you can be thankful for a cleaner Hudson River, many parks and festivals along that river, and a world more educated towards sustaining itself.

In lieu of flowers please just take the extra effort to recycle when you can. She’d like that.

There will be a celebration of life for her in the coming months.

I will keep all that wish informed.
