Beverly (Coleman)

Beverly Dawn Coleman, 56, entered into rest on Saturday, July 27, 2019 at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx. She was born in Beacon, NY on May 21, 1963, daughter of the late William & Frances (Stanton) Coleman. Beverly was employed by St. Francis Hospital and Rehabilitation in Beacon; she worked for the hospital starting as a dishwasher and she worked her way up to Kitchen Director. Beverly was employed by them for over 20-years, until she left due to her health. She was an extremely genuine, loving, caring, amazing woman. She has helped, and been there to anyone who ever came her way; She would leave a lasting impression on a stranger! She loved to cook; and she enjoyed helping others, no matter how hard it became. ‘Mom kept a smile on, stayed positive, and always did all she could to help her family and spared us the pain from watching her suffer.' Beverly is survived by her 2 children: her son Justin Coleman and his wife Kristina; and her daughter Gloria McNair and her wife Justina. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Jaxson, Mayla and Zyah. Beverly is survived by her sister, Debbie Coleman and her brother, Billy Coleman. Beverly will always be remembered as a loving, caring & amazing daughter, sister, mother, and an outstanding grandmother. Her Family & Friends will gather to Celebrate Her Life on Friday, August 9th, 2019 from 10 - 11 AM, at the Springfield Baptist Church, 8 Mattie Cooper Square, Beacon, NY, where a Celebration of Life Service will be held 11AM.
