Catherine Coppola

Coppola, Catherine M., of Palm Coast, FL, formerly of Beacon, entered into rest Saturday, May 4, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was 95. Born January 20, 1918, in Beacon, NY she was the daughter of the late Amos and Mary Rogers Williams. On April 5, 1942 she married Joseph N. Coppola in St. Augustine, FL. Mr. Coppola preceded her in death May 3, 1985. Catherine was a homemaker, a member of Tioronda Order of Pocahontas, Fishkill Seniors, as well as a Parishioner at St. Joachim’s Catholic Church, Beacon. Survivors include two children: William J. Coppola and his wife Barbara of Camden, SC. and Dorothy E. Branning and her husband John, of Palm Coast, FL. four grandchildren: Traci Posner and her husband Aaron, John Branning II and his wife Stacey, Joseph Coppola and William Coppola Jr., six great grandchildren: Ashley, Zachary, Austin, Kyle, Joshua, and Casey, a great great granddaughter: Catherine, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 8, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, May 9, at 11:00 am at St. Joachim’s Church, 51 Leonard St. Beacon.
