Charles Hardy

Hardy, Charles W. Sr. of Beacon, NY, formerly of High Point NC, entered into rest Monday, October 22, 2012 at St.Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh, he was 70. Born November 7, 1941 in High Point, NC he was the son of the late Dozier R. and Juanita Collins Hardy. Mr. Hardy was the former owner of C.W. Hardy Insulation, Beacon. Survivors include: his wife Shelley Hardy at home, four children: Charles W. Hardy Jr. of Ramsuer, NC, LynnTalley and her husband Butch of Madison, NC, Robin Hardy of Ramsuer, NC, and Melody Fan-Hardy of Beacon, a sister Penney Gail Albertson and her husband Beau of NC, six grandchildren, Darell Hardy, Michael Hardy, Jamie Hardy, Charles W. Hardy III, Robert Smith, and Charles W. Hardy IV, three great grandchildren: Alex, Ashton, and Diamond Hardy, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two sisters Thelma Cockran, and Viola Cox. Visitation will be held Thursday October 25, from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY 12508 Services and interment will be held at a later date in North Carolina.
