Charles 'Chuck' E. Fayo

Charles E. Fayo, affectionately known as ‘Chuck’; a life-long area resident, passed away peacefully on May 7, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family; he was 71 years old. Chuck was born and raised in Beacon, the middle brother of five boys. He stayed in the area his entire life.

Chuck served in the United States Navy with the Seabees from 1980 to 1988, until he received an honorable discharge of service.

He worked for Green Fan, Roy C. Knapp Construction and the Laborers Local Union 1000, until his retirement in 2013. Chuck was a life member of the Greenhaven Fish & Game Club. He loved working up north at the lodge and being with the guys. He also enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing with his brother Don; and cooking, country music and watching NASCAR.

Chuck is survived by his only daughter, Rachael and her husband Joe; his two granddaughters Jenna & Alyssa, and his Goddaughter/Niece Sandi.

Arrangements were entrusted to the professional care of the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon. Interment will be private at the discretion of his family. In lieu of flowers his family wishes that memorial donations can be made to Wounded Warrior or St. Jude’s Children's Hospital, in Chuck’s honor.
