Charlotte Kirby

Kirby, Charlotte L. Charlotte L. Kirby, of Beacon, NY, entered into rest Wednesday, June 15 at Elant @ Wappingers Falls, she was 81 years old. Born December 3, 1929 in Tannersville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lucille Pond Barnum. Charlotte was an Avon Sales Representative for over 40 years, she was a Volunteer for Beacon Junior Baseball, an avid Yankee's fan and loved puzles and crafts. She was the widow of the late Thomas Kirby, Sr. who preceeded her in death on July 11, 1983. Survivors include her four children: Diana Brideau (Henry) of Peekskill, Deborah Cartelli of TX, Donna Hurley (John) of Myrtle Beach SC & Thomas Kirby, Jr. (Christina) of Wappingers Falls, a brother Barney Barnum of CA, nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by 3 brothers. Visitation will be held Monday, June 20 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. At Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. Funeral services will take place Tuesday, June 21 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Father David Nolan will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Joachim's Cemetery, Beacon, NY.
