Claudette Humphrey

Humphrey, Claudette, a lifelong resident of Beacon, entered into rest September 1, 2011 at Vassar Bros. Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, she was 69. Born February 5, 1942 in Wappingers Falls, she was the daughter of the late Lonzie and Thelma Booten Humphrey. Claudette was a member of the East Fishkill Kingdom Hall and formerly worked as a Nursing Assistant at the FDR VA Hospital, Montrose, NY. Survivors include a brother Lawrence Humphrey of Beacon, four sisters; Barbara Sims of Beacon, Marjorie DeJesus of Newburgh, Irene Humphrey of Atlantic City, NJ, Clara Young of Louisburg, NC, A stepsister Rebecca Geter of Newark, NJ, her sister-in-law and beloved friend Virginia ‘Shane’ Humphrey of Chelsea, NY, a dear friend Martha ‘Goodie’ Williamson and a host of nieces & nephews. She was predeceased by two brothers Raymond Humphrey & Arthur Geter Jr. II, and her sister Ruth Geter as well as a niece Rachel Walters, and nephews Robert ‘Bobby’ Geter, and Herman Dejesus. Memorial services will be held Sunday, September 4 at 6:00 p.m. At Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses 383 All Angels Hill Rd. Wappingers Falls, NY. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Kingdom Hall.
