Quigley, Daniel Joseph of Beacon entered into rest Tuesday, August 6, 2013 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, NY. He was 60. Born November 7, 1952 in Beacon, he was the son of the late William and Jean Holmes Quigley. Daniel was a Sheet Metal Worker for Metro North Railroad, he previously was employed with the Local 38. He loved Golfing, Softball, and he was an avid fan of the NY Yankees. Survivors include his companion Kathleen Matson, his two sons: Jason and Zachary Quigley, two step-children: David Matson and Stewart and his wife Alana Matson, four grand-children: Ashley, Tyler, Katie, and Gavin Quigley, two step-grandchildren: Dominick and Michela Matson, two brothers: Michael Quigley and his wife Michelle, and Tom Walter and his wife Barb, a sister: Pam Edwards and her husband Don, as well as several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Jeff Quigley. A Memorial Visitation will be held Thursday, August 8, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. Services and Inurnment will be private and at the convenience of the family.
