David A. Droppa

David A. Droppa, a longtime resident of Newburgh, passed away peacefully after a long illness on Sunday, September 29, 2024 at the Fishkill Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Beacon, New York; at the age of 69. He was born in New York, NY on March 18, 1955, son of the late Rudolph Droppa & Marjorie Honsberg.

David was a avid NY Yankee fan. He also had a passion for cooking, fishing and hunting. He enjoyed many hunting seasons with his father and brother in laws . As a young man, he had a natural gift at any sport he played most significantly one being Baseball.  

David is survived by his three daughters: Margaret A. Droppa, Jessica Droppa and Nicole Leake. He is survived by his sisters: Heidi Droppa-Turner, Aimee Holmes and Lori Hansen. He is also survived by his grandchildren, several nieces & nephews.

His Family will gather privately to remember and honor his Life. Interment will be private at the convenience of His Family at the Calvary Cemetery in New Windsor, New York.
