Donald Marlatt

Donald D. Marlatt, of Bloomingburg, entered into rest Thursday, November 13, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. He was 88. Born September 25, 1926 in Cortland, NY, he was the son of the late Daniel and Sadie Hawk Marlatt. Donald was a retired salesman from S&W Ice Cream, Bullville, NY., served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, and was a member of St. Luke’s Church, Beacon, NY. Survivors include his wife, Winifred Bierce Marlatt, who survives him at home; sister-in-law, Carol B. Bates of Beacon, daughter-in-law, Frances C. Marlatt of Mt. Pleasant, SC., two grandchildren, Caitlin Davis of Decatur, GA., Adam Marlatt of Manhattan, nieces, Linda Gray and Beverly Mackie, one nephew Daniel Marlatt, as well as several great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a son Judson Marlatt.
