Donna Lee Guck

Donna Lee Guck, a longtime Beacon resident, recent years of Deltona, FL, passed away on April 23, 2024; at the age of 72. She was born in Beacon, NY on October 9, 1951, daughter of the late Frank Abbott and Helen Thomas.

On January 25, 1969 at St. Joachim Church in Beacon, NY, she married Walter Guck, who predeceased her after 19-years of marriage.

She worked for 30-years as a bus driver for the Beacon City School District, and also the Wappinger Central School District; until she retired.

Donna is survived by her three children: Brian, Walter ‘Sonny’ and Kimberly; her two grandchildren Mary and Nicholas, and one great-granddaughter Chloe.

Along with her parents and her beloved husband, Donna was predeceased by her two loving companions (dogs) Oreo & Bailey.

Her Family will gather to remember her Life on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 6-8PM at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a prayer service will be offered at 6:30PM. Interment will be private at a later date in the St. Joachim Cemetery, Washington Avenue, Beacon, New York.
