Edith Newham

Newham, Edith Caroline of Beacon, formerly of Liberty, entered into rest Friday, November 23, 2012, at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. She was 92. Born March 26, 1920 in Liberty, NY, she was the daughter of the late Benson E. and Josephine Engel Hobart. Edith was the widow of the late Howard Newham Sr. Survivors include her daughter Phyllis A. Newham, and three nieces and ten nephews. She was predeceased by her son Howard Newham Jr., and her sisters: Mary Burroughs, Sarah Helms, Bertha Browne, Lida Hobart and Clara Ward, and one brother Harrison Hobart.
