Ellen Snyder

Ellen Lorraine Snyder of Cold Spring, NY, entered into rest Sunday May 7, 2017 at Care One Nursing Home, Lowell, MA. She was 73. Born June 14, 1943 in Cold Spring, NY, she was the daughter of the late Loren and Eleanor Rogler. Ellen graduated from Haldane High School in Cold Spring, NY. She loved animals and helping others. She was kind to everyone she met and a loving mother. She is survived by three children, Sharon Snyder of Crozet, VA, Lisa Mayo of Fenton, MI and Barbara Urbanek of Tampa, FL, along with several grandchildren, Ariel Snyder, Sarah Murray, Zoe Mayo, Quinn Mayo, Katherine Hankilevitz, Jonathan Urbanek, and one great grandchild, Karene Hankilevitz. She was predeceased by, three sisters, Shirley Gehrtz, Elinor Clement and Doris Silvia. Graveside services will be held on Thursday, May 11th at 1pm at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Route 9, Fishkill.
