Erwin Strassberg

Strassberg Erwin D. ‘Hodge’, of Beacon entered into rest, Monday July 16, 2012 at home, he was 78. Born July 3, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY, he was the son of the late Harry and Fay Goldenberg Strassberg. On February 18, 1967 in Brooklyn, NY, he married the late Mary Ann Hawksby. Mrs. Strassberg preceded him in death February 11, 2012. Mr. Strassberg was a U.S. Air Force Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, a retired department manager for GAF, Wayne, NJ. And formerly worked for MGM, NYC. Survivors include his two children Stevan Raymond Strassberg & Lara Ann Acampora of Beacon, two granddaughters; Mia Isabel Acampora and Emmanuelle ‘Emmy’ Mae Carmine, one sister Alice Cohen Salmansohn of Freehold, NJ. Graveside Services will be held at Fairview Cemetery, Beacon on Friday, July 20, 2012 at 11:00 am with Rabbi Endre Stamler Officiating. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made for care of his disabled son Stevan Strassberg, 73 Teller Avenue, Beacon.
