Ethel McDermott

McDermott Debro, Ethel Louise of Fishkill entered into rest Friday, February 27, 2015 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie. She was 71. Born in Stalwart, MI., December 25, 1943 she was the daughter of Eldon and Evelyn Crawford Debro. She was a retired Underwriter for Krauss & Ritter Insurance Agency, Fishkill. Survivors include: three children, Johanna McDermott Thorpe of Fishkill, Kerian McDermott of New Milford, CT. and Janelle McDermott of Bronx, NY, two sisters: Mary Miller of Ohio and Nancy Foley of ILL., 12 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, nine nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by her son John Weiss and a granddaughter Angela Thorpe. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 15, 2015 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 teller Ave. Beacon, NY, services to follow at 4:00 PM. At 5:00 pm there will be a reception in Ethel’s honor at the White House, Main St. Fishkill, NY Arrangements are under the direction of Jarett D.
