Scofield, Florence of Beacon entered into rest, Saturday, June 10, 2017, at her home. She was 59. Flo was truly special person. A sincere animal lover. Cats, dogs, horses, wolves, squirrels and more. This genuine, kind, thoughtful person entered the world on May 23, 1958. A day I am most thankful for. Flo had great love and admiration for her Dad. He has always remained close in her heart. Throughout her life Flo had both dogs and cats, and she adored them. She was a great Mom. She put their needs above her own. That’s what great Moms do. In addition to caring for her own babies, Flo spent many years volunteering at animal shelters. It filled her heart. Over the years Flo helped countless dogs and cats. I am so thankful for that too. Flo is survived by current babies – her cats Joshua, Sara and Elmo. They meant everything to Flo. Flo was my friend. One of the best I have ever had. One I will miss terribly. Flo taught me things about myself I did not know. I will be eternally grateful for having met her. I will love her always. – Donna Schroeder There will be a gathering of Flo’s friends at 2pm on Sunday, June 25 at ARF, 54 Simmons Lane, Beacon.
