Frank Allan Carey, a life-long Beacon resident and recently years of Kingston, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 in Kingston, NY; at the age of 71. He was born in Beacon, NY on November 30, 1952, son of the late Charles & Evelyn (Eigmie) Carey.
Frank served in the United States Army, as military police, from 1972 to 1974 and 1976 to 1980. Along with an honorable discharge, he was awarded a National Defense Service Medal.
Frank worked for many years as a salesman at Wiedy’s Furniture Store in Kingston, NY until he retired.
Frank is survived by his two brothers, Chester and Edward Carey, and his nephew Paul Carey.
Along with his parents, Frank was predeceased by his three brothers Stephen, Charles and Kenneth Carey. Along with his two sisters, Alice Carey & Evelyn O’Dell.
His Family & Friends will gather on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 9:30AM to 10:30AM at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue Beacon, New York; after which we will process together to the St. John the Evangelist Church, 31 Willow Street, Beacon for the Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated 11AM. Interment will follow to the St. Joachim Cemetery, 325 Washington Avenue, Beacon, where the United States Army Honor Guard will render Military Honors.
