George Pacenza, 71, a longtime resident of Fort Pierce, FL and recently years of Beacon, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 20, 2020. He was born and raised in Newburgh, NY on June 15, 1949, son of the late Adam E. & Bessie M. (Neel) Pacenza; and attained Newburgh City Schools George served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam Era. George worked various different jobs, recently until he retired, he worked in maintenance as a painter for the Mohonk Mountain House in New Paltz, NY. George loved the outdoors and being with nature; he thoroughly enjoyed long walks, camping, and riding his Harley-Davidson; he was also a big dog lover. He also enjoyed his music, writing poems and loved going to Sunday Dinners at his sister Tracey's house. George is survived by his daughter Johna Hart, and Raymond Proulx who was like a son; his sisters and brother: Tracey Pacenza (Peter Halk, who was a good-friend of George's also), Patricia Dietz and her husband Sam, Michael Pacenza and his wife Susan. He is also survived by his nieces & nephews: Shannon (Mina) Victor, Stephanie (Michael) Mora, Brandy (Jay) Simpson, Joy (Scott) Milam, Kimberly (Percy) Dixon, Jennifer (Sean) Williams and Amanda Pacenza, Michael (Tammy) Pacenza, Nickolas Pacenza. And many great-nieces & great-nephews: Shannon, Johnathon, Adriana, Tristan, Savannah, Marissa, Miranda, Kayla, Percy, Sam, Aaron, Aidan, Ashton and Gavin. George had a sense of humor, that could make anyone laugh; We will miss him dearly.
