Gerald Adams

Gerald Adams Sr., 86, of Wappingers Falls, entered into rest Thursday, January 20, 2011 at Wingate at Beacon. Born March 29, 1924 in Beacon he was the son of the late LeGrand & Ida Taylor Adams. Mr. Adams retired from the National Biscuit Company, Beacon in 1985. September 9, 1944 in Beacon, he married Louise Agnes Harrison. Mrs. Adams predeceased him on October 27, 1991. Survivors include two daughters, Diane & her husband Tom Long of Beacon and Sandra & her husband Paul Annetts of Fishkill, his son, Gerald Adams Jr. & his wife Annette of Verbank, NY. 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law Edith Van Buren of Fishkill and several nieces & nephews. Mr. Adams was predeceased by a sister Bernice Secor and a brother Grant Adams. Visitation will be held Monday, January 24, from 11:00 a.m. To 1:00 p.m. At Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. Funeral services will follow at 1:00 pm at the Funeral Home.
