Gladys Eichhorn

Eichhorn, Gladys Mae, a lifelong Beacon, NY resident, entered into rest Friday, July 1, 2011 at Wingate @ Beacon, she was 93. Born December 1, 1917 in Beacon, she was the daughter of the late John and Edith Cosgrove Tomlins. On June 2, 1939 she married Charles Eichhorn Jr.. Mr. Eichhorn preceeded her in death on December 22, 1975. Gladys was formerly employed by Nabisco & Cardigainer Hat Factory in Beacon, and she was a member of the Christian Women's Club. Survivors include her two sons Theodore Eichhorn of Beacon & Jeffrey (Inge) Eichhorn of West Chester, PA, five grandchildren; Andrew, Christopher (Jen), Erin (Joseph), Barret (Meredith) & Charles, six great-grandchildren; Adam, Kacie, Marley, Scott, Abby & Henry. She was predeceased by a son Ronald C. Eichhorn, and 10 siblings; Vida, Ruth, Edna, Doris, Grant, Alice, Allen, Florence, Frederick & Lois. Graveside services will take place Thursday, July 7 at 10:00 a.m. at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill, NY.
