Gregorio Viera

Viera, Gregorio of Beacon, entered into rest Friday, October 30, 2015 at River Valley Care Center, Poughkeepsie. He was 92. Born March 12, 1923, in Naguabo, PR, he was the son of Elias and Justa Ramos Viera. Gregorio was a devoted son, a very loving brother, and the greatest uncle anybody could ask for, we will miss Tiogin. He was a Retired Maintenance Worker, with the City of Beacon School District. Gregorio was a member of Tabernacle of Christ Church, Beacon. Survivors include: two brothers: Santos (Gladys) Viera of Beacon, Benny (Leonides) Viera of Beacon, nieces and nephews: Erick (Carmen) Viera , Betsy (Danny) Catalano, Marilyn ‘Nani’ (Greg) Ricottilli, Wendy (Nathan) Pitt, Shirley (Jay) Jollie, Benny Viera Jr. (Blanca) , Ruthie (Paul) Panko, Evelyn and Flory, cousins: Abelardo Ortiz & Tomasita, several grand nieces & nephews, as well as many more family and friends. He was predeceased by a sister, Gregoria Hernandez, and a cousin, Raymond Viera. Visitation will be held Tuesday, November 3, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at 11:00 am at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. Interment will follow at Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill.
