James Dudley

Dudley, James (RD) Randy, of Worcester, MA, formerly of Beacon, entered into rest Saturday, February 6, 2016 at St. Vincent’s Hospital, Worcester, MA. He was 53. Born August 20, 1962 in Beacon, NY he was the son of Mary Williamson and the late James Lee Dudley. RD attended Beacon High School where he was on the football and basketball teams, he was a former member of the Beacon NSO, he performed in various plays with Curt Stewart, and was a member of Springfield Baptist Church, Beacon. Survivors include; seven children, Scott Douglas of Poughkeepsie, Tyshawn Dudley, Tyrell Dudley, James Dudley, Devon Dudley and Erick Dudley all of MA., and Sherella Dudley of NC., his mother Mary Williamson of Beacon, two sisters, Desiree Sweat of Beacon and Lisa Jones of Poughkeepsie, his brother, Ronald Dudley of Beacon, his uncle, Samuel ‘Uncle Bub’ Lunsford, a cousin ‘Byrd’, seven grandchildren, as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his father James Lee Dudley he was predeceased by, his sister Sandra Dudley, and his maternal grandparents, Margie and Jack Williamson. Visitation will be held Thursday, February 25, 2016 from 11:00 am to 12:00 noon at Springfield Baptist Church, 8 Church St. Mattie Cooper Square, Beacon, where, at 12:00 noon services will take place. Pastor Ronald O. Perry Sr. will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made directly to the family. Arrangements are under the direction of Jarett D.
