Jodi Lee

Jodi Rae Lee, age 44, of Beacon passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on March fifth 2015 with her loving husband, Gustav, at her side. Jodi was a freelance fabric designer who lived and worked in New York City before moving to Beacon in 2011. She graduated from the Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts and received her BA degree from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn. She was an accomplished artist, designer, and author. More importantly, she was a wise, compassionate person with a wickedly funny sense of humor. She loved traveling with her husband, playing with their Shihpoo, Mathilda, spending holidays with her family, and visiting their many friends in the City. She continued that active schedule even after her cancer diagnosis. She was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Beacon. She is survived by her husband, Gustav, her parents, Jim and Gail Titus of Pittsburgh, PA, her grandmother Arlene Titus of Rochester, NY, her Brother Jason Titus, sister-in-law, Amy Guptill and nephews DJ and Arlen from Brockport, NY and countless friends who have poured out their love during the time of her illness. She was predeceased by her mother, Carol Wharton Titus. Saturday, March 14th, there will be visitation time at the First Presbyterian Church of Beacon, NY from 1:30 to 3:00 pm. At 3:00 there will be a funeral service conducted by Pastor Ben Larson-Wolbrink to be followed by a reception in McKinley Hall at the church. On Monday, March 16th, there will be visitation time at the Leo M. Bean and Sons Funeral Home on Chili Avenue in Rochester, NY from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. Pastor Ben will conduct a brief service at the funeral home. There will then be a graveside service followed by interment in the Grove Place Cemetery adjacent to the funeral home. A reception will follow at the Village at Unity where Jodi’s grandmother resides.
