John Joseph Baca,Sr. Slipped peacefully, into his final rest at home, on March 15, 2013. John , soon to be 94, was born July 7, 1919, in Glenham, NY, but grew up in Beacon. He moved down to Spring Hill, FL, with his wife, the women he so loved. John, is survived by his Loving Family: Wife, of 61 years, Dolores T. Baca, His Son, John J. Baca, Jr. and two Granddaughters, Kira Joy & Leah Noelle Baca of Highland, NY, Along with an abundance of Loving Nieces, Nephews And Friends he has accumulated during his life time. John was an Amazing Man, Husband, Father & Friend, who during WWII served in CBI (China, Burma, India). There he was with the Flying Tigers and returned decorated to the woman he married. John’s noticeable presence will be missed so very much, by so very many! Visitation for John will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 pm. at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 11am, Monday, March 25, at Libby Funeral Home. Interment with military honors will follow in St Joachim’s Cemetery, Beacon.
