JOHN WENSLEY August 19, 1955 – February 26, 2016 Pine Bush, New York John Wensley of Pine Bush, N.Y. entered into rest peacefully in his sleep on Friday, February 26, 2016 at the Castle Point VA Hospital in Wappingers Falls after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Oceanside, NY to the late William and Anne Wensley. John is a graduate of Wallkill High School and prouldly served in the U.S. Army from 1974 to 1978 during the Vietnam Era. He leaves behind loving memories to all his family and friends and is survived by his wife Rita Wensley, of 26 years at home, son Trevor Wensley and his wife Irene and their 2 children, Autumn and Ash, sons Thomas Wensley and Steven Wensley, as well as John’s brothers and sisters: Anne Stone her husband John, Robert Wensley his wife Ruth, Kenneth Wensley, Donna Lopez, Walter Wensley and his wife Kathy, Janet Seymour, and his twin sister Joan Quackenbush and her husband Robert, as well as many neices and nephews. Private services are being held by the family.
