Joshua Sulsona

Sulsona, Joshua David of Beacon, entered into rest Wednesday July 3, 2013 at St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital, Newburgh. He was 38. Born December 20, 1974 in Beacon, he was the son of Dennis Sulsona and Nancy Wood. Joshua was a Training Correctional Officer for the New York State Department of Corrections, a member of St. Rocco’s Society, Beacon, and a member of St. John The Evangelist Church, Beacon. On August 7, 2004 in San Juan Puerto Rico, he married Damaris Pico. Mrs. Sulsona survives at home. In addition to his wife he is survived by, three children: Mariangely Hernandez, Juliana Sulsona, and Natalia Sulsona all of Beacon, his father Dennis Sulsona of Beacon, and his mother Nancy Wood of Fishkill, his sister Stephanie Hiesley of Beacon, and his brother Douglas Hiesley of Beacon, his grandmother Norma Mule, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 7, from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday, July 8, at 10:00 am at St. John The Evangelist Church, 36 Willow St. Beacon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made directly to the family for his children’s college fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Jarett D.
