Joyce Taylor

Taylor, Joyce Elaine of Fishkill, formerly of Beacon, entered into rest Friday, September 23, 2015 at Ferncliff Nursing Home, Rhinebeck, she was 81. Born October 14, 1933 in Callicoon, NY, she was the daughter of John J. and Mildred Elizabeth Poley Muir. On June 15, 1957 in North Branch, NY, Joyce married the late Henry G. Taylor. Joyce was a retired Music Teacher with the Beacon City School District, she was a member of Dutchess County Antiques, Dutchess County Player A-Cappella group, the Bottle Club as well as a member of the First Reformed Church of Fishkill, 1153 Main St. Fishkill. Survivors include her brother John J. Muir and his wife Trish, nieces, Katelynn Muir (Brian), Barbara (Christian), Becky (Isi), as well as nieces, nephews and many cousins.
