Judith Elizabeth Tomlins, 75, a longtime Walden resident, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2020. She was born in Lake Ronkonkoma, NY on April 19, 1945, daughter of the late John & Blanche (Ussing) Pedisich. On July 4, 1985 on Sylvan Lake, Hopewell Junction, NY she married Walter R. Tomlins, who survives at home. Judith worked for 25-years in quality-control at Tuck Tape in Beacon, and later on she went to work as a school bus driver for 13-years until she retired. Judy was active for many years with the Montgomery Ambulance Corp, and the Modena Fire and Rescue Ladies Auxiliary. Of all the things she enjoyed most in her life, she loved her grandchildren and SHOPPING! Along with her husband of 35-years, Judith is survived by her 3 daughters and 2 step-daughters: Blanche (Donald) Anderson, Lisa (Gordon) Kerr, Virginia (Joseph) Turcy, Tammy (Heidi) Tomlins and Katrina (Patrick) Belding; she was predeceased by her step-son, Franklin Tomlins. She is also survived by her 3 brothers: John, Paul and Andrew Pedisich; her 13 grandchildren & 14 great-grandchildren. Her Family & Friends will gather on Friday, December 18th from 5-8pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a service will be held 7pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of her family. In light of the recent pandemic occurrence and due to restrictions; social distancing and mask-wearing must be observed inside the funeral home.
