June (Naughton) Moerman

June Moerman, 80, a longtime resident of Newburgh, NY, before retiring to Spring Hill, FL, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2019 at the Kaplan Family Hospice in Newburgh, NY. She was born on June 23, 1939 in South River, NJ, daughter of the late Edward & Lillian (Bardol) Naughton. June was a past-member of the Ladies Auxiliary, Dan Leghorn Engine Fire Company 1 of Newburgh. She worked for many years at the Stop & Shop in Newburgh, until retiring. June is survived by her 3 children: Debra Wylde, Judy Stauffer and Richard Moerman Jr. She is also survived by her 5 grandchildren: Megan, Kaytria, Chaysen, Karli and Peyton; all whom she cherished greatly. June was predeceased by her husband Richard Moerman; her brother Edward Naughton; and her baby-sister Judy Naughton. Her Family will gather at a later date for a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of the Lake Chapel, 433 S Plank Rd., Newburgh, NY 12550. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in June's memory to the Dan Leghorn Engine Company #1, 426 South Plank Road, Newburgh, NY 12550.
