Luvin Gory, Jr.

Luvin Gory Jr., sunrise was on March 29, 1936 and his sunset was on March 15, 2023; he was 86 years old. He married Maria Gory on August 15, 1964. They were pre-deceased by two daughters a.k.a Gory girls; then had two sons and two daughters: Keith Geter, Tammy Gory, Luvin Gory 3rd & Sha-Wanda Gory.

His grandchildren include: Rahkeesha Brickhouse, Curtis Lunsford Jr., Kiam Gory, Antone Gory, Lance Gory, Justin Gory, Starkia Williams, Akia Gory & Danielle Martell. And a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins & friends.

Luvin enlisted in the United States Army at the age of 18, on March 12, 1954 and served until his honorable discharge on March 11, 1957.

He worked as a machine operator at Chemprene in Beacon, NY; for several years until he retired.

His Family & Friends will gather to remember & honor his Life on Friday, April 14, 2023 at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, from 11:00AM to 1:00PM, followed by interment to the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, 801 Route 9, Fishkill, NY; where the United States Army Honor Guard will render military honors in honor of Luvin’s service to his country.
