Maryann Gardner

Maryann (Miller) Gardner 72, formerly of Peekskill residing in Beacon NY, returned to heaven on Friday, November 20, 2020 at the Montefiore St Luke’s-Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh, NY. She was born in Peekkill, NY on November 23rd to Marion (Heady) & John Miller. She was predeceased by her husband Lester A. ‘Chipper' Gardner on November 19, 2002. Maryann is survived by her 3 children: Nancy & her husband Robert Limitone; Lester Jr & his wife Anita Gardner; and John Gardner. Her 3 Grandchildren: Joseph & His Wife Brianne Anzovino; Amanda and Robert Limitone. Along with her 1 great grandson, Jameson Anzovino. Maryann also had several nieces & nephews, all of whom loved and will miss her dearly. Maryann was known for her love of spending time with her family, knitting, crossword puzzles, and sitting in the sunshine. All that knew her knew she was tiny but feisty. She will be greatly missed by all of her family and friends. Her final resting place will be at the Fairview Cemetery in Beacon NY; where she will be laid to rest alongside her husband Lester on Friday, November 27th. In light of the recent pandemic occurrence and due to restrictions; social distancing and mask-wearing must be observed while at the cemetery.
