Michael T. Postolan

Michael T. Postolan, a resident of Armonk, NY passed away peacefully on January 4, 2023 at the Putnam Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Holmes, NY; at the age of 84. He was born in Psary, Poland on February 7, 1938, son of the late Theodore & Marie Postolan. Upon graduating High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy, serving from 1955 to 1974. He retired from the U.S. Navy after a military career, as a Chief Petty Officer in 1974.

On December 17, 1960 at St. Mary Protectress Ukrainian Catholic Church in the Bronx, he married June C. Lange; who predeceased him on December 9, 2015 after 55-years of marriage.

Upon his military retirement Michael worked various jobs, he managed a gas station in White Plains, NY for several years.

He was a parishioner of St. Patrick’s Church in Armonk, NY for many years.

Michael is survived by his two children: son Michael T. Postolan and his wife Jaime; daughter Joann Craig and her husband Dave. He is also survived by four grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren; several cousins and friends.

His Family & Friends will gather from 7-9pm on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 14, at St. Patrick Church, 29 Cox Avenue, Armonk; the family will gather at the funeral home by 9AM for their final-viewing, friends are asked to meet at church. Immediately following the Mass the interment will be to the Kensico Cemetery, Valhalla, NY.
