Nancy Ann (Myers) Eraca

Nancy Ann Eraca, a life-long Beacon resident, passed away peacefully on January 2, 2022 at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie, NY at the age of 84 years old. She was born on July 8, 1937 in Poughkeepsie, NY, daughter of the late William J. Myers & Margaret (Ball) Charron, and step-father John Lou Charron.

On June 2, 1979 in Beacon, NY, she married Michael Eraca, who predeceased her after 30-years of marriage. Together they owned and operated The Hub restaurant-bar in Beacon, until they retired.

Nancy is survived by her 3 daughters: Jill (Rand) Perry, Jan (Doug) Smalley and Peggy (Frank) Angeloni. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren & 7 great-grandchildren. Nancy loved her family & friends dearly, and always enjoyed their company.

Along with her husband, she was also predeceased by her son Greg Cary and her one sister Peggy Hannaburg.

Her Family will receive friends on Thursday, January 6 from 4-8pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a prayer service will be offered at 7:30pm. Interment will be private at a later date in the Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill, NY. In lieu of flowers the family wishes for memorial donations be made to the Beacon Community Kitchen payable to Multi-Services, P.O. Box 1285 Beacon, NY 12508.
