Octavio Camacho

Camacho, Octavio a longtime Beacon resident, entered into rest Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Kaplan Family Hospice, Newburgh, NY. He was 66. Born February 15, 1947 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, he was the son of the late Wilfredo Camacho and Maria Torres. Mr. Camacho was a retired Construction Worker. He was married to the late Wennie Graham Camacho, who predeceased him October 26, 2012. Survivors include eight children: Nakita Graham of Poughkeepsie, Chanelle Camacho and Marywin Camacho both of Beacon, Ilian Camacho, Hilda Camacho, Luis Camacho, Octavio Camacho Jr. and Zaida Camacho all of NJ, two brothers: Eleuterio ‘Teddy’ Camacho of Beacon, Juan Camacho of PR, a sister Zaida Camacho of Beacon, as well as a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Wilfredo Camacho. Visitation will be held Friday, May 17, 2013 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY, where, at 1:00 pm funeral services will take place. Interment will follow in St. Joachim’s Cemetery, Beacon, NY. Arrangements are under the directions of Jarett D.
