With profound sadness and a heart full of love, we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia Ann Harbolic, affectionately known as Patti. On April 5, 2024, at the age of 68, Patti left us while surrounded by the warmth and love of her family at the Vassar Brothers Medical Center in Poughkeepsie. A beacon of strength and love, Patti was born on May 3, 1955, at Butterfield Hospital in Cold Spring, NY, to the late Carl J. & Ann F. (Pomart) Jones, marking the beginning of a life that would touch so many.
Patti proudly graduated from the Peekskill City Schools with the class of 1973, where the foundations of her wonderful future were laid.
The year 1990 brought Patti and William A. Harbolic Jr. together in marriage in Peekskill, NY, a union blessed with love, partnership, and resilience. William, her devoted husband of 34 years, remains a testament to their enduring love, continuing to cherish the love and life they built together.
Patti's passion for the beach and her love for the serene beauty of Long Beach Island, New Jersey, where she enjoyed many family vacations, mirrored her love for life and the joy she found in the simplest of moments. Patti loved Dolphins, and dolphins will forever remind us of her beautiful soul.
Her career in banking, marked by pride and accomplishment, culminated in her role as Assistant Vice President at the Bank of America in Washingtonville, NY—a career that, while significant, was but one aspect of her rich and multifaceted life.
Patti's legacy is carried on by her beloved family: her Husband William Harbolic JR., her daughter Carlajean Masopust and her wife Samantha Terni of Canton, CT; her son Stephen G. Masopust and his wife Janine of Poughkeepsie, NY; and her adoring granddaughters, Kenzie and Pearl. She also leaves behind her sister Carol Anne (Blair) Hartley, alongside a loving circle of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Patti was greeted in heaven by her parents and her sister Kathleen ‘Kathy’ McGowan, with whom she shares a forever bond.
We invite friends and family to join us in honoring Patti's life and legacy on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 am on Wednesday, April 10, at St. Mary, Mother of the Church, 106 Jackson Street, Fishkill, NY. In keeping with the wishes of her family, interment will be private.
Entrusted to the loving care of family friend Joseph Schuka of the Libby Funeral Home of Beacon, arrangements are a testament to the community's respect and love for Patti.
