Paul Eraca

Eraca, Paul P. of Greer, SC formerly of Beacon, entered into rest July 21, 2012, at Greenville Memorial Hospital, Greenville SC, he was 79. Born July 11, 1933 in Beacon, NY he was the son of the late Frank and Rose Jusick Eraca. On May 3, 1955 in St. Joachim’s Church he married Jacqueline Frost, Mrs. Eraca pre-deceased him June 27, 2010. Paul was a retired Locksmith for Fishkill Correctional Facility, a member of St. Joachim’s Church, Knights Of Columbus, B.P.O. Elks Beacon, a life member of Beacon Engine,and a U.S. Air Force Korean Conflict Veteran. Survivors include Five Children; David P. Eraca and his wife Allyn of FL, Rosemary Eraca of SC, Paul S. Eraca of Beacon, Tracy Pavlovic and her husband Steven of SC, and Scott M. Eraca of SC. Nine grandchildren; Adam, Steven, Kimberly, Kevin, Emily, Shawna Rose, Nicole, Todd and his wife Katy, and Sarah, two great grandchildren; Braedan, and Audrey, his brother Frank Eraca of Fishkill, his sister Rosemarie Sandford of Rhinebeck as well as several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by his brothers; Joseph, Michael, and Vincent Eraca, and his sisters; Catherine Phillips, Julia Carbanaro, and Antoinette Annis. Visitation will be held Wednesday July 25, from 6:00 to 9:00 pm at Libby Funeral Home, Inc. 55 Teller Ave. Beacon, NY, where, at 7:30 pm Beacon Engine will hold services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Thursday, July 26 at 11:00 am at St. Joachim’s Church, Leonard Street, Beacon. Father David Nolan will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Joachim’s Cemetery, Beacon.
