Peter Galloway

Galloway, Peter F., of Beacon, entered into rest Wednesday, February 9, 2011 at Wingate Beacon, he was 75. Third born son to Samuel and Alice Galloway, born October 17, 1935 in Dunbarton, Scotland, he was an Engineer by trade and sailed with the British Merchant Marines. Peter immigrated to New York in June of 1959 and came to Beacon in July of 1972. Predeceased by his father in June 1996 and his mother in January 2000, he is survived by his five brothers Harry of Ottawa, Canada, Stewart of Hampton, New Brunswick, Canada, Samuel of Quispansis, New Brunswick, Canada, Andrew of Dunbarton, Scotland and Robert and his wife Crhistine and their daughter Jacqueline & husband Dimas Arroyo and their sons Robert & Dimas of Beacon. He is also survived by 7 nephews, 7 nieces, 7 grand nephews & 7 grand nieces and many cousins around the world. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday May 21, 2011, at 11:00 AM at St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church, Willow St. Beacon, NY.
