Philip Russo

Philip Thomas Russo of Pine Plains, formerly of Brooklyn, entered into rest April 13, 2011 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center, Poughkeepsie, he was 49. Born July 21, 1961 in Brooklyn, he was the son of the late Jerome Russo and Edwina Anker Russo. Philip was a Chef at The Pond in Ancramdale, NY. He was a loving father, son and brother. He was a ‘gentle soul with a rough exterior’. Survivors include his wife Anna Meccariello Russo, three children Bryanna Russo and her fiance Thomas Lutz of Hyde Park, Dominic Russo of Pine Plains and Christiano Russo of Pine Plains, a grandson Niccolo Lutz, his mother Edwina Jessica Russo of Pine Plains, his sister Danielle K. Neff and her fiance Michael Osinskie of Kingston, and his step-father David Neff of New Windsor. Memorial services have been held.
