Raymond W. Pavone, a resident of Beacon for 13-years, formerly of Cold Spring, NY, passed away on December 22, 2022 at the Montefiore St. Luke’s-Cornwall Hospital in Newburgh; at the age of 72. He was born in Peekskill, NY on August 8, 1950, son of the late Rudolph ‘Rudy’ & Anne (Bolthem) Pavone. Raymond graduate from Hendrick Hudson High School in Buchanan, NY.
On September 25, 1976 at the St. Columbanus Church in Cortlandt Manor, he married Patricia A. Kruse, who survives him at home.
Ray worked as a truck driver for over 30 years at the Putnam County Highway & Water Facility in Carmel, NY; until he retired. He was a volunteer fireman with the North Highlands Fire Department in Cold Spring, NY for over 20-years. Ray was an avid NY Yankees fan. He enjoyed fishing, and thoroughly enjoyed going on cruises with his wife. He also enjoyed the holidays and making his infamous Ray-Nogg which will greatly be missed.
Along with his beloved wife of 46-years Patty Pavone, Raymond is survived by his two children: Gregory Pavone and Tammy Pavone; and his three grandchildren Casey Pavone, Sophia Pavone and Alexander Hardt. He is also survived by his sister Barbara Stewart, and several nieces & nephews.
His Family will receive Friends on Tuesday, December 27th from 2-4 & 7-9pm at the LIBBY FUNERAL HOME, 55 Teller Avenue, Beacon, where a Funeral Service will be held 11am, Wednesday, December 28th followed by interment to Fishkill Rural Cemetery, Fishkill, NY.
